Custom Thermo Sensitive Yarn Knitted Pullover for Men
HDL Garment is a custom men’s sweater manufacturer with more than 20 years of knitwear production experience. We produce men’s pullovers, cardigans, vests, and knitted shorts and pants for fashion brands, private label programs, and online retailers, working from your sketches, tech packs, or reference samples.
Men’s knitwear is usually bought as a program rather than a single style, so the first decision is the shape family. Pullovers and crew neck or polo styles are the volume base of most menswear knit ranges. Cardigans add a front opening, which brings the placket, zipper or button choice, and front panel matching into the sample review. Vests sit over shirts and hoodies and depend on the armhole and neckline finish. Knitted shorts and pants extend a range into full looks and need waist construction decided early.
A men’s knit program lives or dies on the neckline and shoulder. Crew neck, V neck, polo collar, half zip, and quarter zip are the common openings, and each one carries its own rib proportion and finishing method. Dropped shoulder, set-in sleeve, and raglan change how the garment sits across the chest, and that choice should be fixed before sampling because it affects both the pattern and how much yarn the style consumes.
Craft is where a men’s sweater range separates from a generic one. Jacquard, intarsia, cable, rib, and crochet each change the surface and the production steps, and several can be combined on one garment, for example a cable body with a ribbed neckline or a jacquard motif placed on a plain-knit base. Embroidery and printing sit on top of the knit instead of being formed by it. If you have a surface effect in mind but are not sure which technique produces it, send the reference and we will confirm the construction before sampling.
Sizing for men’s knitwear is developed from your size chart. Because knit garments change dimension when they relax, we work from finished measurements rather than nominal labels, and confirm the tolerances for the key points before bulk.
Color is open. Any color from your palette can be developed, and the colors shown in our product photos are working references only, not a fixed range. Where a garment uses more than one color, the color boundaries are what need the most attention at the sample stage, because the definition of a stripe, a block, or a jacquard edge depends on how the yarns meet.
Material options are confirmed according to the design and target hand feel. We can also accept a yarn you nominate or a yarn we propose for you to approve before sampling. MOQ is confirmed after reviewing the yarn, color, craftsmanship and order requirements. Custom sizes are available based on the buyer’s size chart. Sampling and production schedules are confirmed after all design details are approved.
For buyers building a men’s collection, our custom men’s sweaters cover the full range from a single pullover style to a coordinated cardigan and pants range. If your range mixes sweaters with other knit categories, the custom sweater manufacturing services page explains how pattern development, yarn sourcing, and private label finishing are organized across a program. Buyers who are still deciding on yarn can review the comparison and selection of different wool materials guide before sampling.
